the Grand National Roadster Show. Attendance at this awesome show is

BedWood for Trucks Gearing Up for California's Grand National Roadster Show 2012

Bed Wood and Parts is looking forward to its return to the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, CA on January 27-29, 2012. GNRS is the longest running indoor car show in the world, with over 500 show vehicles for the awards- and 400-800 more on Saturday and Sunday for the 7^th Annual Grand Daddy Drive-In when vehicles will be lined up between the buildings as part of the show!

Look out for BedWood for Trucks^TM in Fairplex Building #4.

A few helpful facts:

-Address to the Fairplex is 1101 West McKinley Ave, Pomona, CA 91768.

-Theme for this year’s show is Futuristic.

-Awards start on Sunday at 4pm.

When you build a hot rod for SEMA it better be good, that is why this customer asked us to build a custom BedWood kit and the matching bed sides. Yep, if you have a special request we can usually accomodate your needs.

This hot rod uses a rich dark wood that highlights the chocolate brown paint color. Th install was made easier thanks to BedWood's own BedStrips™.

If you need something very special then just ask BedWood. This vehicle needed matching bed sides and we were able to make them in the same wood.

Radical Mini-Truck Features BedWood for Trucks

With so many trucks at SEMA we had trouble finding every vehicle that featured BedWood™ for Trucks. This mini was not one that we had trouble finding, because it was so nicely built. The truck has a full body drop and our experts had no problem fitting this custom.

The builder was proud to show off that he was using BedWood for Trucks as the sticker he made was displayed on the windshield.

Hot Rod Builder and Host of Search and Restore on SPIKE Chooses BedWood™

Every year SEMA is the show where top builders and companies debut new vehicles. The 2011 SEMA Show was no different this year and among the cool show vehicles was the 2011 Chevy HD designed and built by Tim Strange of Strange Motion.

Tim Strange is one of the leading hot rod builders in the country and his shop Strange Motion in Nashville, TN embarked on a truck build this year. Being a professional he did his research and then he decided that BedWood for Trucks would be the only choice for this special SEMA truck build.

Tim's Chevrolet HD was a crowd pleaser with the dynamic paint, leather interior and the BedWood For Trucks exotic wood.

Travis Noack owns this awesome 1956 Ford F100 and it just won the 2011 GoodGuys Truck of the Year award.

The truck was built by Hill's Hot Rods in Texas and it has a number of details that make it stand out. One such feature is the dynamic wood bed by BedWood™. The custom bed was made to fit the trucks custom bed and enhance the color of the paint.

Another item of note is that the owner, Travis Noack is also the editor of Street Trucks Magazine. He is a guy in the know and when he decided on BedWood for his F100 we were thrilled.

So-Cal Speed Shop's Jimmy Shine Chooses BedWood™ for Holley C10 Build

Hot Rod and bike builder Jimmy Shine chose BedWood for this C10.

The team at So-Cal Speed Shop in Pomona, California have just finished a full top-to-bottom rebuild of the iconic Holley C10.

The Chevy C10 is such a popular truck that just finding one is difficult. Holley has taken this truck coast-to-coast as a display vehicle. When it was time for a freshening up for the new show season it was sent out West to So-Cal.

Precision fit wood and hidden fastener extruded aluminum all from BedWood.

Jimmy Shine the hot rod builder, bike builder and car doctor in residency at So-Cal Speed Speed Shop was in charge of this C10's redo. Between shaping metal, staring on Car Warriors, the Speed TV show he decided to install a complete BedWood kit.

Will Posey's '54 features a BedWood kit and BedStrips™.

The best thing about making custom products like our BedWood kits is seeing it used by our customers. Customers like Will Posey who used our wood kit and the hidden fastener aluminum BedStrips™.

This kit is definitely the finishing touch on his 1954 pickup. The truck will make its debut this weekend in Nashville, TN at the GoodGuys Nationals. I cannot wait for Will to bring that truck by for a good long look!

GM Performance 1955 Chevy E-Rod Pickup Features BedWood™ for Trucks

The GM Performance E-Rod Pickup features BedWood™

Each year at the SEMA trade show in Las Vegas the auto manufacturers create some concept vehicles. They reach into their bag of tricks to show the rest of us what can be done with their
vehicles or aftermarket products.

For the 2010 SEMA show, the GM Performance division built this 1955 Chevrolet Series 3100
pickup. Called the E-Rod and painted green to reflect its eco consciences drive train it also featured another special feature. That feature is the custom milled BedWood™ for Trucks wood bed kit.

Chevrolet and GM Performance are very concerned with quality, fit and durability when they build a show stopper like this. They chose the BedWood for Trucks custom milled kit and
the result was a perfect fit.

I get to meet so many car people in my travels and one of the best things is seeing our BedWood kits actually installed. It is at the show where we get to see our customers win awards, show off the exotic wood beds and share ideas for new hot rods, trucks and kustoms!

At the 2010 SEMA show Michael Anthony ( a founding member of Van Halen and now ChickenFoot) stopped by the BedWood booth. A real car guy who loved the exotic woods we offer and told us that he might just use our wood in his next truck project.
